Terms & Conditions
PeerSage was developed to allow artists to share their works with other artists, gain valuable feedback on their contributions and offer the potential to earn money through their thoughtfulness and creativity.

We do not sell the data that you post on, submit, or share on PeerSage.

PeerSage does not claim any ownership or copyright in your Content. Operating PeerSage, however, requires us to make copies, and backup copies, on servers that may be located anywhere around the world.

Each user is responsible for knowing and abiding by the laws of their own geography.

How PeerSage works

PeerSage users create events by selecting the genre and content that submissions for their event should support. The deadline for when the event will end, and the fee that it takes to enter work into their event.

Users can review the event parameters and choose to join, submit their work, and read, rate (give points to), and write reviews on other users’ submissions.

Users who have submitted work can give a rating (points) to the reviews written on their submission.

Once an event reaches the end, the total number of points collected from ratings on a user’s submission, plus the points collected from that user’s reviews on other’s submissions, determines final rankings.

Submission format

Probability of receiving a cash prize

Simply joining a PeerSage event and paying the entry fee has no bearing on your probability of winning a cash prize. Final rankings are determined by the total cumulative points awarded to submissions and written reviews on other entrant’s submissions, by the other entrants of the event you’ve joined. The scores all entrants may receive are determined by other entrants who’ve paid to join the event, based on their subjective measures of the quality of other’s submissions and the quality of the comments written on their submission.

Submitting a piece of writing is not contingent on winning a prize or final ranking. Entrants can accumulate points simply by the points awarded to their reviews on other entrant’s submissions.

Writing reviews on other entrant’s submissions is not contingent on winning a prize or final rankings. An entrant can accumulate points simply by points awarded to their submission.

When a PeerSage event begins and ends

PeerSage events are created by PeerSage users that determine the duration, buy in fee, and subject matter for the event they create. Event creators choose a deadline for their event when all entry, submissions, written review on other’s submissions, and rating of submissions and reviews are no longer accepted. Deadlines cannot be extended for any reason once an event is submitted on PeerSage. Events begin as soon as they are posted by their event creator on PeerSage.

How cash prize recipients are determined

Cash prizes are distributed to the entrants with the highest scores when the event they’ve entered meets its deadline. The standard PeerSage uses to establish final scores is determined by the total number of points that are awarded to an entrant’s submission, plus the total number of points awarded to entrant’s written reviews on other entrant’s submissions. Event creators do not give ratings to submissions, or rate comments on submissions, unless they have entered the event.

How cash prize amounts are determined

When 4 or more entrants have joined a PeerSage event, cash prize values for 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place are determined by the number of entrants multiplied by the dollar amount to enter the event minus 12% of the total amount of entry fees collected for the event by the event’s established deadline. The 12% that is deducted from the total collected fees to enter an event is distributed as follows: 4% goes to the creator of the event, and 8% goes to PeerSage.com. 1 st place will receive 53% of the total fees collected for the event. 2 nd place will receive 25% of the total fees collected for the event. 3 rd place will receive 10% of the total fees collected for the event.

- If only one entrant has joined a PeerSage event when the event meets its deadline, that entrant will be refunded the total amount paid to join the event.

PeerSage will collect the remaining 8% of the total collected fees for the event.
